IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Tournaments and Footbal Programmes
Kickoff Events – Tournament Terms & Information
About Kickoff Events
Kickoff Events operates as a football tournament and sports event organiser.
We organise and deliver football tournaments and development programmes for participating teams. Our responsibilities relate solely to the organisation of football activities, fixtures, venues, and tournament delivery.
Kickoff Events does not sell, package, or arrange travel or accommodation services.
Accommodation for International Tournaments
For international tournaments, teams may choose to arrange accommodation through our recommended independent travel provider.
Accommodation bookings are made directly with the travel provider, forming a separate contract between the team and the accommodation provider.
Accommodation arrangements are handled by an independent ABTA-covered travel provider, which offers financial protection for accommodation bookings in accordance with their own terms and conditions.
Teams are also free to arrange their own accommodation independently if preferred.
The recommendation of accommodation providers helps participating teams stay within reasonable proximity to tournament venues, supporting the smooth running of the event.
UK tournaments are currently operated on a tournament-only basis. Accommodation is not required but may be arranged independently or through a recommended provider upon request.
Booking Process
Provisional Booking
Teams may make a provisional booking by contacting Kickoff Events, subject to availability.
We will hold your team’s place for up to 7 days without obligation, provided the tournament is more than 80 days away.
Team Registration
To confirm participation, teams must:
• Complete the Kickoff Events Team Registration Form
• Pay the non-refundable 20% Team Registration Deposit
Once registration is accepted, a confirmation email will be issued.
The team registration deposit secures tournament participation only and does not include accommodation, travel, or other services.
For UK tournaments, team registrations are paid in full via the booking platform at the time of registration.
Accommodation Booking – International Football Programmes
Following team registration, accommodation options may be shared with teams through our recommended independent travel provider.
Accommodation bookings are made directly with the travel provider via their booking link, and payments are handled by that provider.
Tournament entry and accommodation bookings therefore form separate contracts and are subject to separate payment and cancellation terms.
Accommodation availability, allocation, and booking conditions are managed entirely by the travel provider.
Example International Tournament Schedule
The following is an example schedule for teams attending a multi-day tournament event.
Teams may choose their own arrival and departure times.
Day 1 – Arrival

Day 2 – Tournament Day
Tournament matches begin at approximately 10:00am. Teams should arrive at the venue by 9:30am.
Matches will begin with group stage games followed by a knockout format. Teams can typically expect to play 5–8 matches, depending on tournament structure and progression.
A presentation ceremony will take place in the late afternoon.
Day 3 – Optional Activities
Optional group activities such as stadium tours may be arranged independently if requested.
Day 4 – Departure
Teams depart at their own leisure.
Rules, Fixtures & Final Briefing
A final tournament briefing including fixtures, tournament rules, and scheduling will be sent to team leaders approximately 7–10 days before the event.
All participants must adhere to the rules and guidelines provided by Kickoff Events and the regulations of the relevant national football association.

Behaviour & Conduct

Insurance
Kickoff Events maintains Public Liability Insurance in relation to the organisation and delivery of its football tournaments and programmes.
This insurance does not extend to individual participants, teams, travel, accommodation, or personal belongings.
